The Crib Wall project is currently estimated at $17.7 million, but this number is from 2019. Given inflation and worsening conditions, the actual cost could be closer to $27 or $30 million. Funding this through certificates of participation means taking on more debt.
My Position:
We need accurate cost estimates from the start. Let’s prioritize our spending to avoid unnecessary debt and ensure essential projects are funded properly.
